More Information
Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum in Rajasthan and one of the most beautiful buildings in Jaipur. It is located in Ram Niwas Garden and was built in 1876. The museum was named after the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, as it was designed in a similar style. The Indo-Saracenic architecture, with its grand domes and carved arches, makes it a treat for history and art lovers.
Inside, the museum has 16 galleries filled with ancient artefacts, coins, pottery, carpets, weapons, and sculptures. The most famous attraction is the Egyptian Mummy, which fascinates many visitors. The museum also has beautiful paintings from different art schools, showing the rich history of Rajasthan.
At night, the entire building glows with golden lights, making it look even more magical. Many people enjoy sitting in the lush green gardens around the museum, admiring its beauty. If you are interested in history, art, or architecture, Albert Hall Museum is a place you should not miss!
