Pilot Baba Ashram and Dham is an amazing place in Sasaram, it is named after Indian Air Force Wing Commander Kapil Singh, also known as Pilot Baba. He was a brave hero who fought in the Indo-China War of 1962 and the Indo-Pakistan Wars of 1965 and 1971.
One life-changing event happened during a flight when he lost contact with his base but was guided to safety by what he believed was a divine power. After this, he went to the Himalayas to find spiritual peace.
Located just east of Sasaram’s main city, Pilot Baba Ashram and Dhamt has a grand 111-foot tall statue of Lord Shiva and the impressive 120-foot Somnath Temple. Behind Lord Shiva’s statue, you’ll also find a statue of Gautam Buddha, adding to the beauty of the place.
