🙏 Sourabh Kumar Singh's Journey on Two Wheels
I never thought a simple dream could turn into such an important part of my life. Back in 2017, I finally took my first step into the world of riding with my Honda Dream Neo 110. That bike wasn’t just a machine, it was freedom on two wheels.
Soon after, two of my close friends joined me, and together we started The Indian Feather. What began as three friends riding through the streets of Jaipur slowly grew into a proper motorcycle riding club in Rajasthan, now with 10 dedicated members.
Our weekends quickly became about more than just rides, they became about friendship, exploration, and the open road. From short rides around the city to exploring the hidden gems of Rajasthan, we’ve made memories that will stay with us forever. We even began sharing our journeys on YouTube, so more riders could connect with our adventures.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to ride some amazing bikes, from the classic Yamaha RX 100 to the powerful Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Today, I’m enjoying every adventure with my Hero Xpulse 200 Fi, a bike that feels just right for both city rides and off-road fun.
Riding has taught me that it’s not just about reaching a destination, it’s about the journey, the people you meet, and the stories you create along the way. And for me, this journey is only just beginning.

Q: Your Preferred Riding Style:
Touring and Adventure / Off-road
Q: Your Favorite Type of Ride:
Solo, With a Few Friends, and Family Ride (Pillion/Spouse/Kids)
Q: What’s most important for you in a ride?
Scenic Routes & Exploration and Mind Relaxation / Therapy
Q: How did your journey with motorcycles begin? What first got you on two wheels?
My journey began in 2017 with a **Honda Dream Neo 110**. I was inspired by rider stories and the feeling of freedom on two wheels, which pushed me to take my first ride and never look back.
Q: Which ride or destination has been the most meaningful to you and why?
The Jaipur to Udaipur ride has been the most meaningful to me. Covering long stretches of highway, winding roads, and scenic views of Aravalli hills made it unforgettable. It wasn’t just about reaching Udaipur, but the journey itself, riding with friends, sharing laughs, and experiencing the beauty of Rajasthan together. That ride truly strengthened my bond with both my bike and my fellow riders.
Q: What challenges have you faced as a rider (on the road, with people, or with your bike)?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced as a rider is dealing with the growing use of high beams at night, which makes visibility really tough and sometimes dangerous. On top of that, e-rickshaws on city roads often create sudden obstacles, making it difficult to maintain a smooth and safe ride. These issues test patience and focus every time I’m on the road.
Q: What does being part of the motorcycle community mean to you?
Being part of the motorcycle community means freedom and pure enjoyment. In this busy, hectic world surrounded by constant screens and displays, riding with fellow bikers feels refreshing and real. It’s my escape and my way to truly live the moment.
Q: What safety gear or essentials do you always carry when you ride?
For my safety, I always carry pepper spray and a small multi-purpose knife. Along with basic riding gear, these give me an added sense of security, especially on long or late-night rides.
Q: Tell us about your most unforgettable riding story – good, bad, or crazy.
My most unforgettable ride was the return journey from Udaipur to Jaipur. It turned into a crazy experience because of an emergency, we had to cover the entire distance in just 7–8 hours. The ride was exhausting, but pushing through that challenge with focus and determination made it a story I’ll always remember.
Q: What advice or philosophy do you live by as a rider?
As a rider, I believe in avoiding sudden lane changes, keeping my bike well-serviced, and always wearing full safety gear. Most importantly, I trust my instincts on the road, they often make the difference between a smooth ride and a risky one.
